  Arrival in Kutaisi airport, You will be met by the representative of Travel Point Agency. Transfer to Kutaisi hotel and check in the hotel 3*.

After arrival there is time to have a rest up to breakfast

09:00 -10:00 AM (Breakfast time)

       After breakfast visiting Otia’s Wine cellar,-a homestead of famous Georgian writer Otia Ioseliani, where we can taste wines (Tsitska-Tsolikouri, Otskhanuri Sapere and Chkhaveri Rose), produced in western Georgia (without tannin). Time duration: 1:30h, which Includes, – get information about wine producing technology, degustation: 3 sorts of wines, Chacha and Honey Vodka. Snacking: Shoti Bread, walnuts, churchkhela, cheese assortment and water. Afterwards, we have opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful mountainous regions of Georgia-Racha. The region is famous for wine culture. First we visit Nikorthminda church (11th) and then continue to drive towards Bugeuli winery, where we taste famous wine of Racha region-Khvanchkara. This day will be ended by the visit to Local Family Wine Cellar in near Ambrolauri. Degustation of wines with traditional dishes like Lobiani and Shkhmeruli.

 

Drive back to Kutaisi.

After breakfast, we get ready for the most exciting part of your trip-a journey to Svaneti, the region of the highest mountains and glaciers and the moats abiding ancient traditions. En route Svaneti, we will visit to Grotto, where the footprints of dinosaurs are found, the Grotto of Prometheus. The cave is rich stalactites, stalagmites and mineral rock curtains. The long of walking route for tourists is 1060 m. and the route by boats on underground lake of 280 m. Afterwards, drive to Martvili Canyon,-a place with lots of waterfalls and sky blue water. This wonderful place is located in Samegrelo-upper Svaneti region. With a boatman and a guide, you will take an unforgettable journey between high rocks in Canyon. On the way to and from canyon you can explore the Dadiani’s forest-park, Limestone natural bridges, overview platforms, waterfalls, XIX century water mill, fossil shells of nautiluses and sea urchins. Continue driving to Dadiani Palace with royal family collection and ethnographic artifacts and Dadiani Wine cellar (Salkhino),-an unusual sights that have ever seen at a winery, which provides visitors with an opportunity to see a 17th c. renovated chateau, museum, vineyards and old cellar. Have wines degustation: two wines different vintages made from Ojaleshi grapes. Afterwards, we continue our drive to Svaneti where we will spend the night.

After breakfast drive to Mestia-the administrate center of Svaneti Region. We
explore the town with ancient towers, gushing rivers, coniferous forests and snow
peaked mountains. Visiting the Svanetian House & tower and History &
Ethnographic Museum of Svaneti, in order to get in touch with local history. If the
weather permits us, we will drive to Koruldi Alpine lakes (2740m), lying at the foot of
Mt.Ushba. The Delica will go as far as the view-platform and steel cross at 2300m. The

Lakes are very small and the best thing about Koruldi is the panoramas of the
surrounding mountains, glaciers and valleys, such as: Asmashi, Banguriani, Tetnuldi,
Svaneti range and Mestia itself.

     After breakfast drive to Ushguli, which consists of 3 villages. A three-hour drive will take us to the highest permanent village in Europe-Ushguli (2200m). Ushguli and generally the whole Upper Svaneti region is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The village itself is the most famous for its abundance of watchtowers and this is where you get the view of the highest mountain in Georgia- Mt.Shkhara (5068m). In Ushguli visit Lamaria Church (12th c) and then walk up the hill to Queen Tamar’s Tower. If the weather allows us, we will have the opportunity to see not only the Village Ushguli, but also breathtaking views of Shkhara (5201m), Tetnuldi (4617m) and Ushba (4710m) glaciers.

      After breakfast, drive back to Kutaisi. En-route Photo stops Enguri Dam. After arrival in Kutaisi, visit to Local Family Wine Cellar, where we will have lunch with traditional dishes.

The tour package also includes two the most popular sightseeing; Gelati Monastery (1073-1125), which is included in the World’s Cultural Heritage of UNESCO and Motsameta Monastery Complex,-built on the cliff and is surrounded by the river from 3 sides. The nature and colors around the monastery are amazing.

Weather: the best season for this holiday is from mid-May till November. The average daytime temperature in May, Sep and Oct, is about +20 C to

+25 C and in summer time +28C to +35C. Some days are spent in the mountainous areas where the weather is variable. The temperature changes from +20C /afternoon/ to below +5C/+10C at night.

Health matters: Everyone should be able to participate in this holiday, without any limitation of age and physical shape. We recommend that each person will carry a small personal first aid kit. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health before you join the holiday.

Insurance: It is essential that everyone has a medical and personal insurance throughout the period of participating in our tours. The policy should include hospitalization, repatriation, medical expenses and loss of baggage. You always have to carry a copy of your insurance policy with you.
